At the end of 2017, as the warm sunlight in the winter shone everyone’s face, it reflected all kinds of emotions and feelings of the year. There were many issues and difficulties faced by people at home and abroad, while the topic of crisis awareness was constantly brought up during the year. However, those with noble aspirations focus more on the future of China and realization of the Chinese Dream. The year of 2017 witnessed a powerful rise of China, a grand revival of the whole silicone industry and DJS’s courageous endeavors. Though in the year of 2017, DJS only achieved a sales volume of 85,100 tons, a decline of 4.28%, among which direct export sales rose to 10,900 tons by 5%. However, the annual sales revenue (tax included) stood at RMB 1.765 billion, a significant rise of 30.93%. The average number of staff for the year decreased to 878 by 3%. In addition, staff salaries and labor insurance and welfare paid in the same period reached RMB 79.8 million, up by 4.89%, while VAT, import duty, business income tax, individual income tax, property tax, land use tax, urban construction tax and other types of tax and fees paid RMB 66 million, an increase of 29.26%. Corporate benefit and social contribution both hit a record high thanks to your great passion and all-out efforts. These highlight your unparalleled loyalty and passion towards the Company and the country.
20 years ago, we settled in Dougang, an underdeveloped and barren land full of hope, waved the flag of DJ and experienced its initial growth and take-off. Our dream is grand and hope is right ahead. Why did we embark on this journey without hesitation back then? It is to increase benefits for the local area, bring welfare for employees, create glory for the Group and continue the great undertaking of China. To let dreams fly, advance courageously, never forget the original aspiration and let DJS people’s youth in Dougang be an unforgettable mark. In 2017, our management team and corporate mechanism were preliminarily optimized and our product structure and production process evidently improved. By following our tenet, i.e. to guarantee top quality meticulously and customer satisfaction in all manner of ways, assisted by the sales guideline, i.e. to seize every minute and second, spare no trouble and focus on details, we have earned a sizeable market share at home and abroad and a large number of quality customers, securing a permanent invincible position for DJS.
Now, fierce market competition has become a normal state.
