On behalf of the group shareholders, the boards of directors and our families, we would like to extend our heartfelt respects. 

 

The past year of 2014 saw many turning points in China’s economy: sliding domestic economy, inadequate impetus for export, plunging commodity prices and weak market demands. Despite the unfavorable economic environment, the group still outran its plan and scored a sales volume of 81,800 tons, up by 8.51% year on year; and a gross sales revenue of RMB 1.353 billion (including tax), down by 1.81%. We have maintained our leading position in the silicone industry in terms of scale and market share, and continued to outshine our competitors faster, leaving them far behind. However, scale can be a double-edged sword, as it means prominent status in the industry and unassailable market competitiveness on the one hand, and more resource occupancy, capital investment, and probably higher risks on the other hand. Now we must soberly recognize that with the Chinese economy shifting from a high-speed growth to a moderate one and the continued optimization and upgrading of its economic structure, any enterprise, in pursuit of production scale and sales growth, must pay more attention to corporate operational efficiency and actual profit growth. Therefore, scale should not be the purpose of pursuit but the natural outcome of development. Accordingly, “maintaining growth, making structural adjustments, securing profits” becomes the “new economic norm” for enterprises. 

 

In order to achieve the “new economic norm”, our team of professional managers must become audacious and pioneering to overcome the indolence of muddling along and discard the unhealthy attitude of standing aloof and self-contentment. The managers should play an exemplary role in leading the staff represented by outstanding employees to spare no efforts and aim high, so as to develop our enterprise in a massive, fast, effective and economical approach. Currently, we should start with “tapping into internal potential, intensifying technology upgrading, enhancing staff efficiency and creating cost advantage” to reflect on the new progress and higher pursuit of the enterprise. 

 

In 2015, Dongjue Group is resolved to well manage its enterprise and Dongjue brand, and improve the land it roots in and the community it depends on, so as to enable all the employees to enjoy a perceptible promising future and live in dignity and happiness. On the basis of “good enterprise, superb brand, sweet home and happy life”, our entrepreneurs, team of professional managers and all employees should take a longer-term perspective, set bigger ambition and shoulder more responsibilities. We must unite together and work hard. Let us strive for a stronger nation, a progressive society, an abundant life for the people and a memorable history. With our motherland in mind and the whole world in view, let us exert ourselves to realize the “Chinese Dream” in the near future.
