As market demand is continuously in a slump situation since last quarter, our sales dropped off for all kinds of silicone rubber during this third quarter and total sales amount was 12,452 tons (including 1,814 tons sold outside mainland China, which accounted for 14.57% of the total sold), showing a decline of 20.02% year on year. It included 2,683 tons of gum, 8,727 tons of silicone compound and 1,042 tons of insulating rubber, decreasing by 34.40%, 15.30% and 11.32% compared with the same quarter of last year respectively.
Meanwhile, the silicone compound put into our downstream silicone rubber appliances production was 606 tons during this quarter, at the growth rate of 14.77% from the same period last year.
For the first three quarters, the total sales volume are 38,601 tons (including 6,896 tons sold outside mainland China, which took up 17.86% of the total), dropped 2.54% form a year earlier. Among the total sold, there were 9,516 tons of gum and 3,516 tons of insulating rubber, representing an increasing of 10.14% and 7.79% than that of the previous year respectively. While for the silicone compound, it has seen a fall of 7.79%, with the volume of 25,569 tons.
As at the end of this September, silicone compound on our own-used for appliances manufacturing had reached 1,682 tons, showing a jump of 22.42% from the prior year’s period.
